One suggestion would be to put a clock on each pick (provided there are no problems with internet connections and things like that). Say you have a 3:00 clock to make your pick. If your 3:00 runs out, the people behind you can start picking, and keep picking, until you make your pick. It's kind of like what happened in the NFL draft that one year.
